Ala Wai 600 Row Finger Pier Repair

Sea Engineering served as a prime contractor for the Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR) at Ala Wai Boat Harbor. The project goal was to install six custom made finger piers and gates in 600 Row. Sea Engineering provided on water and in water services that included the repair of six (6) pre-existing pile caps to allow for installation of the new finger piers, repair of four (4) pre-existing mooring piles for future dock residents, repair of the existing shoreside abutments to allow for a stable and clean transition to the finger pier walkway, installation of six (6) 30-foot-long aluminum finger piers with plastic lumber fender boards, installation of six (6) 10-foot-wide aluminum gates to provide security to future dock residents, and demolition of four pre-existing wooden piers located on the second half of 600 Row. Today, the piers are fully functional and provide the benchmark for future rehabilitation to the Ala Wai boat harbor.
